Marci Taylor

Marci Krufka Taylor is strategy consultant for professional services firms and high growth companies. She advises clients on strategy, marketing and management issues and provides leadership, marketing and business development and mindfulness training and coaching to lawyers and executives. Prior to founding Mantra, Marci served as the Director, Marketing Operations for an AmLaw100 firm, where she was responsible for the management of the marketing operations team, key firm marketing initiatives and marketing and business development efforts for the firm’s 180+ lawyer Business Law Section. She worked on the firm’s brand refresh, headed the project management on the firm’s multiple new web sites and led the firm’s client satisfaction program. Previously, Marci served as Executive Director for a mid-sized regional law firm, where she managed operations functions, including marketing, finance, human resources and information technology. Prior to serving as an Executive Director, Marci served as a principal at Altman Weil, Inc. where she handled hundreds of client engagements, including developing and implementing firmwide strategic plans and practice-specific marketing and business plans; coaching individual lawyers on marketing and business development; conducting client satisfaction interviews and surveys; developing and implementing practice group management programs; conducting training programs; and planning and facilitating law firm retreats. Marci began her career in the practice of law with a firm in Philadelphia.

Elizabeth Mell

Elizabeth is a marketing and business development consultant for law firms. She has spent her career in professional services marketing and business development, and her roles in various business sectors have given her a unique perspective on how legal services are bought, sold and delivered. She served as the Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer at Montgomery McCracken, and she has held positions at several other law firms, including Fox Rothschild, DLA Piper and Morgan Lewis. Twice in her career, Elizabeth has taken on newly-­ created roles, introducing and pioneering new programs. She entered Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney as a Marketing Manager and progressed to Director of Diversity, where she was responsible for developing and launching the firm’s diversity program and women’s initiative. Elizabeth also spent five years as the Collaboration Manager for DuPont’s Network of Primary Law Firms and Service Providers. She was the first person in this position, which was conceived by DuPont’s outside counsel. She facilitated collaboration among the 40 firms in the DuPont Legal Model to create opportunities for the firms and service providers to generate new business, as well as referrals between network members. She began her career in the member services department at the 13,000-­member Philadelphia Bar Association for eight years.

Chris Hoffman

Creative Director, Brand Police, Customer Advocate

Chris Hoffman has over 25 years of experience as a Creative Director, Advisor, and Designer. He started his career as an illustrator and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Color Theory. He quickly found a growing passion for working with clients in developing their brands and identities across all marketing channels. His appetite to study and learn the intricacies of each client, their market and the needs of their customers has led him to work across a variety of industries from global apparel brands and tech companies to sporting venues and beverage companies. Chris’ diverse client experience helps him bring a fresh approach to any industry. Steve Andersen

Vice President, Content and Client Strategy, Infinite Global Consulting

Steve Andersen is the Vice President, Content and Client Strategy, for Infinite Global Consulting, Inc., the world’s leading legal public relations firm. He leads several public relations account teams for Infinite Global, and heads the firm’s Content Center. Steve helps some of the world’s largest, best known and most specialized law firms execute media strategies tailored to their specific objectives. He also works with a range of clients in the financial services, consulting and intellectual property sectors. Before joining the firm in 2012, Steve focused most of a 19-year journalism career in the business, legal and energy press, at publications including InsideCounsel, Public Utilities Fortnightly and Illinois Legal Times.
